Beating the heat and HOA rules on High Point Drive
A contractor renovating a large neo-eclectic home near High Point Drive called us with a serious headache. It was mid-July, the clay soil was baked rock-hard, and the local HOA had strict visibility rules. The crew needed a unit close to the house for efficiency, but placing it on the pristine St. Augustine grass wasn't an option without risking fines or lawn damage.
I maneuvered our delivery truck to drop the unit on a paved side run without cracking the concrete. We set up a twice-weekly pump schedule to combat the Texas heat and used heavy-duty deodorizing discs to keep the neighbors happy. The roofers stayed on the job site all day instead of driving to a gas station, and the homeowner didn't receive a single violation notice.
Caleb placed the unit exactly where we needed it without tearing up the client's driveway.
